Public Meeting on Upper Central and East Hillside Land Use Study Scheduled

[Duluth, MN] - The City of Duluth invites the public to attend the Upper Central and East Hillside Land Use Study Public meeting on Wednesday, February 20, 2019, starting at 5:30 pm at the Grant Rec Center located at 901 East 11th Street.  At this meeting, the City’s Community Planning Division will discuss the planning process and seek input from residents on the potential for expanded commercial, business, or residential development in the upper hillside area. The goal of the Land Use Study process is to analyze the area in greater detail to determine whether any recommendations to change the Comprehensive Plan future land use are warranted for this area.

The planning process is expected to conclude in March of 2019 with a report presented to the Planning Commission.
