City Hall in the City to Focus on Youth Programming in Duluth Parks and the Duluth Flag Project
[Duluth, MN] Mayor Emily Larson will host a City Hall in the City listening session at the Central Hillside Community Center on May 21, 2019, from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. As a part of this year’s series, each session will focus on a topic. The first session will provide a presentation from the City of Duluth Parks & Recreation staff on the new youth programming that will be available this summer at Piedmont Community Center and Morgan Park. Attendees will also have a chance to rank the nine finalists as a part of the Duluth Flag Project.
City staff from Parks and Recreation and Planning & Economic Development will be on hand to answer questions pertaining to these two highlighted programs.
All residents are welcome and encouraged to attend to meet individually with Mayor Larson or to write down comments or concerns that will be reviewed with staff.
The City Hall in the City listening sessions will continue throughout the rest of the year and will highlight different topics in different locations of the city. Sessions are focused on providing residents with the chance to share ideas, concerns, and needs with the mayor, city councilors, and city staff.
