City Announces Pavement Rehabilitation on 24th and 26th Ave. East, Public Meeting Scheduled

[Duluth, MN]  The City of Duluth will be hosting a public meeting on May 30, 6:00 P.M., at the Pilgrim Congregational United Church of Christ located at 2310 E 4th St, Duluth, MN 55812. This meeting will discuss the pavement rehabilitation project planned for 24th Avenue East and 26th Avenue East this summer. Attendees will be able to review drawings and maps of the planned construction and detours.

 

Details regarding mail delivery and trash pickup will be discussed at the meeting, in addition to impacts to DTA and school bus routes.

 

The project will reconstruct the pedestrian ramps to ADA standards and most intersections will have partial/complete pavement replacement. Because of this, there will be limited or no access through the intersections on the cross streets.
