Marine 19 Unveiling Ceremony

Wednesday, May 29, 2019 at 10 a.m.

The Slips at Pier B Resort Hotel

 

[Duluth, MN] Mayor Emily Larson, the Duluth Fire Department, and partners will formally unveil Marine 19, a new water resource on May 29th at 10:00 a.m. at The Slips at Pier B Resort Hotel.

Marine 19 is the only boat of its kind in the Western Great Lakes and will serve the Port of Duluth/Superior. The vessel will join the newly added personal watercraft to the department’s water resource list. Previously, the only water resource that the department had was a 12-foot inflatable raft.

Mayor Larson, department staff, and local officials will make remarks and formally bless the boat.

The public is invited to attend.
