Update:  

On Tuesday, June 4th, 2019, RYAN RICHARD JAZDZEWSKI, 40 years of age, was lodged at the St. Louis County Jail after being formally charged by the St. Louis County Attorney’s Office on the charge of Murder in the Second Degree.  The victim was identified as RYAN’S wife, NICOLE ANN JAZDZEWSKI, 41 years of age. 

 

 

 

[DULUTH, MN] On Sunday June 2, 2019 at 8:23PM Duluth Police responded to the 800 block of Chester Park Drive in Duluth on information that a child was reporting that their parents were fighting. Upon arriving on scene, officers were met by a 40-year-old male with apparent blood on his clothing. Once inside the residence officers located a 41-year-old female who appeared to have multiple stab wounds. The female was transported to a local hospital where she was pronounced deceased. The 40-year-old male on scene was identified as the suspect and taken into custody; he is currently in a local hospital on an arrest hold.  Upon release from the hospital, the male will be transported to the St. Louis County Jail pending formal charges. The female’s body was taken to Midwest Medical Examiner’s Office for an autopsy. The Duluth Police continues to investigate what is believed to be a domestic violence homicide.
