Informational Meeting to be Held on new Zoning Standards for Tiny Homes, and Other Subjects
[Duluth, MN] The City of Duluth Planning & Development Division invites the public to an informational meeting to discuss proposed revisions to the City’s zoning code, known as the Unified Development Chapter (UDC). Proposed zoning ordinance changes related to tiny homes will be discussed, as well as the subjects of tree preservation, distillery/craft breweries, and temporary structures and shipping containers.
The meeting will be held on Tuesday, June 25, 2019, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., in Room 202 of the DECC’s Harbor Side Convention Center. Information collected from the meeting will be forwarded to the City Planning Commission, which will review the proposed changes in a public hearing on Tuesday, August 13, 2019.
The meeting will be an informal open house format, with a short 10-minute presentation at 5:30 p.m. Members of the public can arrive before or after the introduction to discuss the proposed changes with City staff. Handouts describing the proposed modifications will also be available at the meeting.
