[DULUTH, MN] The urban stage of Max Fierek’s Duluth Hard Enduro mountain bike race will take place Saturday, June 29, from 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. on and near Lake Ave., between 4^th St. and 8^th St.  In addition to local streets, portions of the event will take place in Cascade Park and Central Hillside Park. 

The following streets will close for the event from 2:00 p.m. until approximately 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 29, to accommodate set-up and teardown of the racecourse: 

-Lake Ave., between 4^th and 5^th Streets, and between 6^th and 8^th Streets

-8^th Street, between Lake Ave. and 1^st Ave. E.

-7^th Street, between Mesaba Ave. and 1^st Ave. E.

-5^th Street, between Lake Ave. and 1^st Ave. W., and

-sections of North and South Cascade Streets. 

Northbound Lake Ave. traffic will be detoured to 4^th St. and 4^th Ave. W. to access Mesaba Ave.  

Fourth Street traffic will be detoured to 2^nd and 3^rd Streets to bypass the event.

Seventh St. traffic can use Mesaba Ave., 1^st Ave. E., and 9^th St. to bypass the closure at Lake Ave.  

First Ave. E. and adjacent streets will provide access to local residences. 

Motorists in the area should remain alert to increased pedestrian and bicycle traffic in the area and are asked to follow the direction of Officers and signs at the event.
