INCIDENT LOCATION: Lake Ave, Casecade Park, Central Hillside Park
[DULUTH, MN] The urban stage of Max Fierek’s Duluth Hard Enduro mountain bike race will take place Saturday, June 29, from 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. on and near Lake Ave., between 4th St. and 8th St. In addition to local streets, portions of the event will take place in Cascade Park and Central Hillside Park.
The following streets will close for the event from 2:00 p.m. until approximately 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 29, to accommodate set-up and teardown of the racecourse:
-Lake Ave., between 4th and 5th Streets, and between 6th and 8th Streets
-8th Street, between Lake Ave. and 1st Ave. E.
-7th Street, between Mesaba Ave. and 1st Ave. E.
-5th Street, between Lake Ave. and 1st Ave. W., and
-sections of North and South Cascade Streets.
Northbound Lake Ave. traffic will be detoured to 4th St. and 4th Ave. W. to access Mesaba Ave.
Fourth Street traffic will be detoured to 2nd and 3rd Streets to bypass the event.
Seventh St. traffic can use Mesaba Ave., 1st Ave. E., and 9th St. to bypass the closure at Lake Ave.
First Ave. E. and adjacent streets will provide access to local residences.
Motorists in the area should remain alert to increased pedestrian and bicycle traffic in the area and are asked to follow the direction of Officers and signs at the event.
