The husband and wife in Wednesday afternoons double shooting have died.
Michael and Kay Peterson both died Friday evening after being removed from life support. Earlier and at the families request the two were placed on life support so organ donations could be made. The official time of death for Kay is Thursday, May 27th at 8:55 AM, and for Michael it is Friday, May 28th, at 2:30 P
The investigation into the Wednesday afternoon shooting shows that Michael shot Kay three times in the head before shooting himself. The shootings occurred in their Smithville neighborhood home.
An autopsy on Kay was scheduled for Saturday morning. The investigation continues.
