SUBJECT: Intersection of Piedmont Avenue and West First Street to Close Temporarily

Intersection of Piedmont Avenue and West First Street to Close Temporarily
[Duluth, MN] The intersection of Piedmont Avenue and West First Street will close temporarily on Monday, July 8th, for approximately ten days. A contractor will make temporary improvements to the intersection to allow for wind turbine parts to be moved out of the Port of Duluth this summer and fall. The interim improvements will be in place from approximately July through October. During this time, driving lanes on First Street will be shifted to the north. No street closures after July 18th are expected.
