Lincoln Park Structure Fire determined to be Arson, Investigation Continues

[Duluth, MN] On Monday, July 8, 2019, at 5:22 a.m., Duluth Fire Department responded to a structure fire at 2213 W 4th Street. The home was occupied at the time of the fire by an adult male, adult female, juvenile female, and four dogs. The male and juvenile female left through the back door. The adult female jumped from a second-story window and was brought to the hospital where she remains in the ICU. Smoke detectors alerted occupants of the fire. There were four dogs in the home at the time of the fire, three dogs were rescued, and the 4th dog is still missing at this time.

The fire was determined to be arson.  This is an active investigation being conducted by the Duluth Police and Fire Departments. To protect the integrity of the investigation, no other information will be given at this time. Additional information will be provided when appropriate.  If anyone has any information regarding this fire, they are asked to call 1-800-723-2020.  There is a reward of up to $5000 from the Minnesota International Association of Arson Investigators, to any information that could lead to an arrest.
