[DULUTH, MN] On August 13, 2019, Duluth Police and members of the Lake Superior Drug and Violent Crimes Task Force arrested Juron Carter, a 26-year-old resident of Chicago Illinois. Investigators arrested Carter in the 300 block of N. 2nd Avenue East in Duluth for 1st Degree Sale of Heroin. Carter was found to be in possession of 18 individually packaged bags of heroin and $1,447.00 in cash. Carter was formally charged on August 16, 2019 and remains in custody at the Saint Louis County Jail in Duluth. His bail in this case was set at $100,000.00.
At the time of his most recent arrest, Carter was already out on bond from a previous arrest in March of this year. In that case, Carter was charged in Saint Louis County Court with Aid and Abet 1st Degree Sale of Heroin and 2nd Degree Sale of a Controlled Substance. Carter was released from jail after posting a $75,000.00 bond in that case. During the March arrest of Carter, police seized 41 grams of heroin and $10,000.00 in cash.
