SUBJECT: Update: Body Recovered from MN Slip ID'd as Jacob Michael Lavoie

[DULUTH, MN] At approximately 3:00 PM on September 6, 2019, the Duluth Police Department and St. Louis County Rescue Squad recovered the body of a deceased male from the Minnesota Slip in Canal Park in Duluth, MN. The identity of the body was later confirmed to be that of Jacob Michael Lavoie, 21 year old UMD student who was last seen leaving Grandma’s Sports Garden on September 1, 2019 at 12:08 AM. His body was transferred to Midwest Medical Examiners Office where the cause and manner of his death will be determined pending autopsy results.

 

[DULUTH, MN] At approximately 3:00 PM on September 6, 2019 the Duluth Police Department along with St. Louis County Rescue recovered the body of a male from the Minnesota Slip in Canal Park, Duluth MN. Upon positive identification we will release more information.
