City to Announce 2020 Sales Tax Street Projects

Press Conference

September 11, 2019 at 1:00p.m.

Located at the pocket park on Medina Street and North 46th Avenue West*

[Duluth, MN] Mayor Emily Larson will announce the 2020 Sales Tax Street Projects at a press conference at 1:00p.m. on September 11, 2019. Mayor Larson and Public Works Director Jim Benning will announce the total number of miles that will be worked on in 2020.

The sales tax was approved by the legislature in 2019. The sales tax was supported by 76.5% of Duluth voters in 2018, and will raise approximately $7 million annually, and is legally designated for street repair.
