City to Announce Snow Removal Assistance Program

October 3, 2019 at 2:00 p.m.

City Hall, Mayor’s Reception Room

 

[Duluth, MN] Human Rights Officer Carl Crawford, along with Parks and Recreation staff, and members of the Duluth Commission on Disabilities will announce a snow removal assistance program at a press conference on October 3, 2019. The press event will take place at 2:00 p.m. at City Hall in the Mayor’s Reception Room on the fourth floor of the building.

The City is launching the pilot program to help individuals who cannot remove snow from their sidewalks and walkways.  The press conference will outline language from the City Ordinance for removing snow, qualifications for this program, and a volunteer opportunity to match those willing to assist in need of help this winter.
