Monday, October 14 at Main Library – 520 West Superior Street
Book Bingo - 12:00 pm – 1:00 pm: If you like Bingo, you'll love Book Bingo! Instead of numbers, we draw book titles. Bring your lunch and play to win a gift card to Barnes & Noble. In the Gold Room.
Monday, October 14 at Mt. Royal Branch Library – 105 Mt. Royal Shopping Circle
Goodnight, Garden! - 6:00 pm – 7:00 pm: Now that fall is here, the garden needs a little special attention before it rests. Garden beds need to be cleaned and trees, bulbs, and perennial plants need protection from winter’s cold and garden pests. This session provides tips for putting your garden to bed. Presented by St. Louis County Master Gardeners.

Baby and Toddler Storytime - 10:15 am: For children from birth to 36 months. 20 minutes of simple stories and fingerplays for infants and toddlers with parents. In the Gold Room.
Preschool Storytime - 11:15 am: 30 minutes of stories, songs and fingerplays. In Youth Services.
Squad Car Storytime - 3:45 pm: Join us for stories read by one of Duluth's police officers. In Youth Services.

Thursday, October 17 at Cascade Park – West 6th Street and North 1st Avenue West
Story and Play at Cascade Park – 10:00 am – 11:30 am: Duluth Parks and Recreation & the Duluth Public Library are joining forces to bring you Story and Play at Cascade Park! Bring your own picnic and blanket and join us for a family storytime at Cascade Park! Duluth Parks & Recreation will be at the park from 10:00 – 11:30 AM with extra equipment for young children. Storytime begins at 10:30am. Families are welcome to play and picnic before and after the storytime.

Create Your Own Comic Character Workshop - 10:00 am – 12:00 pm : Do you like to read graphic novels or comics? Do you like to draw? Write? Have you ever drawn a character from different angles? In this class, you’ll learn different tools that will help you create a comic character and start your own story. The instructors, Minnesota author Trisha Speed Shaskan and Minnesota author/illustrator Stephen Shaskan, are the creators of the picture book Art Panels, BAM! Speech Bubbles, POW!
