Monday, October 21 at Mt. Royal Branch Library – 105 Mt. Royal Shopping Circle
Urban Legends from Outer Space - 6:00 pm – 7:00 pm: In this Internet age, where science fiction masquerades as fact, even the most rational person might wonder: Could NASA have faked the moon landings and did they really spend millions on space pens? Author Bob “Astrobob” King will discuss how to cut through the fog to bring truth to such questions and become more discerning observers of the world.

Tuesday, October 22 at Mt. Royal Branch Library – 105 Mt. Royal Shopping Circle
Family Fort Night - 6:30 pm – 7:30 pm: Have you ever wanted to explore the library after hours? Bring your favorite fort-building materials, or use some of ours, to build a cozy reading nook somewhere in the library. Enjoy snacks, games and reading time with your grown-up. A fun-filled evening for your family! Kids must be accompanied by a parent or caregiver. Don’t forget your flashlight!

Baby and Toddler Storytime - 10:15 am: For children from birth to 36 months. 20 minutes of simple stories and fingerplays for infants and toddlers with parents. In the Gold Room.
Preschool Storytime - 11:15 am: For children from birth to 36 months. 20 minutes of simple stories and fingerplays for infants and toddlers with parents. In Youth Services.
Squad Car Storytime – 3:45 pm: Join us for stories read by one of Duluth's police officers. In Youth Services.
Wednesday, October 23 at West Duluth Branch Library – 5830 Grand Avenue
West Duluth Storytime - 10:30 am: 30 minutes of stories, songs, and fingerplays.

Halloween Crafts for Kids – 10:30 am – 1:00 pm: Join us in the Youth Services area of the library for Halloween crafts for kids. A variety of simple crafts will be available for kids K - 5th grade. Make them and take them home. Fun for all! Children under 8 must be accompanied by an adult. Made possible by the Friends of the Duluth Public Library. In Youth Services.
