SUBJECT: Two arrested in heroin search warrant

INCIDENT LOCATION: 500 Block W 4th St
[DULUTH, MN] On 9/30/2019, the Lake Superior Drug and Violent Crime Task Force and Duluth Police Department conducted a search warrant at an apartment on the 500 Block of W 4th St. Investigators obtained information that Freddie Neal III (49) was in possession of several firearms and has a violent past, to include convictions for Second Degree Assault, Terroristic Threats, Second Degree Criminal Sexual Conduct, Robbery, and Fifth Degree Assault.
While surveilling the location, investigators placed Neal into custody without incident. On his person, investigators located a firearm, heroin, and drug packaging material. At the search warrant location investigators located three more firearms. All four firearms seized were stolen. Resident, Tamika Marie Davis (33) was arrested for Aid and Abet Second Degree Sale of Heroin and Child Endangerment.
Neal was charged with five counts of Felony Possession of a Firearm and Second Degree Sale of Heroin.
