West 1^st Street and 5^th Avenue West Lane Closures

[Duluth, MN] The City of Duluth is informing the public of lane closures on West 1^st St and 5^th Avenue West. The lower driving lane and parking lane on West 1^st Street are closed between 4^th Ave West and 5^th Avenue West. The up bound lane of 5^th Avenue West is closed between the 1^st Street Alley and West 1^st Street. Access to the parking ramp is still available from both the alley and 1^st Street. These closures are in place for the city contractor to restore the pavement due to prior steam utility repairs. The lane closures are anticipated to be in effect until Friday, October 25^th.

The public is advised not to travel up 5^th Avenue West from Superior Street to 1^st Street the wrong way in the down bound lane.
