Public Meetings Scheduled for December 2 Rescheduled
[Duluth, MN] The City of Duluth is canceling two public meetings that were supposed to be held tonight. The Rebuild Duluth information session that was supposed to be held from 3:00 – 4:00 p.m. has been rescheduled for Thursday, December 5th, from 4:30 – 5:30 p.m. in room 330 in City Hall. This meeting is to help the public or developers learn more about the Rebuild Duluth affordable housing program.
The second meeting is for the rezoning of several upcoming applications being presented at the Planning Commission on December 10. This meeting was supposed to be held tonight at 6:00 p.m.; instead, the meeting has been rescheduled on Thursday, December 5, 2019, at 6:00 pm in Room 330. The pending rezoning actions for Hartley Park, Magney-Snively Nature Area, Frederick Rodeny Paine Forest Preserve to Park and Open Space (P-1) the rezoning of a portion of land near Becks Road to Industrial General (I-G), and extending the shoreland protections for streams in the Midway and Riley Road annexation areas will be discussed in more detail at that time, in addition to the rezoning of a portion of land near Snively Road Glenwood Street to Residential-Urban (R-2).
This above informational meeting is optional and is simply an opportunity to provide more information to citizens who are interested and who are unable to attend the public hearing. Citizens are still welcome to attend and speak before the Planning Commission at the public hearing on Tuesday, December, 10th at 5:00 pm in the City Council Chambers.
