City Asks Residents to Take Caution Crossing or Being near the Lift Bridge
[Duluth, MN] The City of Duluth is asking for pedestrians and vehicles to take caution when crossing or being near the Aerial Lift Bridge due to falling ice. Warmer temperatures and sunlight have allowed for large amounts of ice to fall off of the bridge. If residents can avoid crossing or being near the Lift Bridge, staff is requesting that residents wait until later today to do that.
The east side sidewalk remains closed for precautionary purposes.
