Spirit Valley Business District Snow Train to begin December 20

[Duluth, MN] The City of Duluth Street Maintenance team will start removing accumulated snow from Grand Avenue on Friday, December 20th in the Spirit Valley Business District to ensure safety and accessibility for pedestrians. Staff will start on Grand Avenue from Central Avenue and work towards 59th Avenue West.  If crews are able, they will begin snow removal on Central Avenue as well.  This work will take place overnight from approximately 2:00-7:00 a.m. The affected areas have been signed for no parking. If need be, work may extend into the work day on Friday.

The City advises the public be aware of posted signs and adhere to the parking restrictions to prevent ticketing and towing.
