South Lake Avenue Reopened to Traffic
[Duluth, MN] Water has receded in Canal Park allowing traffic to reopen on South Lake Avenue to Park Point to all residents. Standing water can still be found in the Lighthouse parking lot, a portion of Canal Park Drive and Morse Street. These areas will remain closed to traffic until conditions improve.
The National Weather Service expects a transition to a light wintery mix this afternoon. Strong northeast winds will be steady at 30 – 40 miles per hour. Conditions are expected to improve this afternoon until the evening when a second storm arrives in the Twin Ports Monday morning.
