Duluth Police arrest two males prowling vehicles

 

On Tuesday, June 22, 2010 at 3:45 a.m., a Duluth Police officer observed two suspicious males standing near a vehicle in the 900 block of East #6 Alley.  Due to recent vehicle prowls and property thefts in the area, the officer attempted to make contact with the two males.  As the officer approached the two, they fled on foot and at time they were observed carrying property. With the assistance of other responding officers, the two were located along with stolen property they were possessing.

 

Cody James Rice, age 20, was lodged at the St. Louis County Jail for Tampering with a Motor Vehicle, Fleeing Police on Foot, and Underage Consumption.  Jacob James Edwards, age 21, was lodged for Tampering with a Motor Vehicle and Fleeing Police on Foot.  

 

Citizens of Duluth are reminded to lock homes, garages, and vehicles, remove all valuables from vehicles, and to report any suspicious persons or activity to 9-1-1.
