The City of Duluth Provides COVID-19 (Coronavirus) Information
The City of Duluth takes the safety and wellbeing of residents and staff seriously.
The City has been in regular communication with St. Louis County Public Health and Human Services and the Minnesota Department of Health with regard to COVID-19. We are also monitoring the guidance of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) on this issue.
Should the need arise, the City’s Emergency Management team has a pandemic plan that could be utilized in coordination with county, state and federal partners.
We support the CDC’s recommendations on strategies that may help prevent the spread of this and other viruses that include:
- Avoid close contact with people who are sick
- Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth
- Stay home when you are sick
- Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue, then throw the tissue in the trash
- Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces using a regular household cleaning spray or wipe
We encourage residents to visit St. Louis County's dedicated COVID-19 website here:
