City to Convene Press Conference with Community Partners in Response to COVID-19
March 16, 2020 | 10:00 a.m. | Mayor’s Reception Room

[Duluth, MN] The City of Duluth will be convening a press conference tomorrow, March 16, at 10:00 a.m. at City Hall in response to Governor Walz’s announcement today regarding guidance from the State on school closures. The City has invited vital community partners to provide an update on their operations.


The City will be taking a phased approach to our operations and programs. City staff has been notified, and more details will be outlined during the press conference.


Due to social distancing, the press conference will be for the media only and closed to the public. The City will be streaming the press conference on its Facebook page – you do not need a Facebook account to view this stream. The City has also asked local media to stream the press conference as well.
