SUBJECT: Second Street to be temporarily closed for construction.

Second Street temporarily closed between 12th Avenue East and 17th Avenue East due to construction.
The City of Duluth would like to inform motorists of the closure of Second Street between 12th Avenue East and 17th Avenue East beginning Wednesday, June 30th. The closure is necessary because Second Street narrows beginning at 12th Avenue East thus not allowing contractors enough space to conduct necessary road work repairs.
In preparation of the June 30th road closure crews will be placing barricades on Second Street on Tuesday, June 29th.
Avenues between 12th Avenue East and 17th Avenue East may be closed to accommodate storm sewer construction. Motorists are asked to use an alternate route. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated.
