City of Duluth to Provide Operational Updates at Press Conference

[Duluth, MN] Mayor Larson will provide an update on City operations at a press conference on Wednesday, April 29, at 12:30 p.m.  Mayor Larson will be making several updates in addition to two funding programs including the Cares Act, and 1200 Fast Grants. The Mayor will also provide a budget recap from the City Council meeting on April 27. She will also provide a public safety update, and give information on how the City is preparing to reopen City buildings.

The press conference will be held virtually. Residents can watch on the City’s Facebook page. As a reminder, you do not need to have a Facebook account to be able to access the press conference. The link to the City’s Facebook page is https://www.facebook.com/City-of-Duluth-MN-Government-197321860309981/ . If you are a member of the public and have a question during the press conference, please email info@duluthmn.gov, and your question will be answered.

A separate link will be sent to media outlets to participate in the call. This link will allow members of the media to ask questions at the end of the press conference.

The City of Duluth plans to hold weekly press conferences every Wednesday at 12:30 p.m. to provide updates to the community. The press conference will be streamed on the City’s Facebook page which is anyone can view at any time.
