At Large City Council Vacancy Applications Now Available

 [Duluth, MN]Applications for the vacant At-Large City Council seat previously held by Councilor Barb Russ are now available.  Applications can be accessed by visiting: https://duluthmn.gov/city-council/duluth-city-council-vacancy/  

Due to COVID-19, applications must be submitted by email to the City Clerk at chelmer@duluthmn.gov or by mail to the City Clerk’s Office, 318 City Hall, 411 W. 1st St., Duluth, MN 55802. Applications must be received by 4:30 p.m. on June 1, 2020.  Applications received after that date and time will not be accepted.  

A first round of Council interviews will be on June 4, 2020, following the regular agenda session of the City Council at 5:15 p.m.  Three candidates will proceed to a second round of interviews on June 8, 2020 at which time a final candidate will be selected for appointment.  For additional information regarding the appointment process please refer to City Council Resolution 20-0406 adopted on May 11, 2020.
