City to Reopen Skywalks on May 18

 [Duluth, MN] The City of Duluth, in partnership with the Greater Downtown Council, will reopen the skywalk system on Monday, May 18th, at 7:00 a.m. The skywalk will be open during the hours of 7:00 a.m., and 7:00 p.m. Reminders will be placed throughout the skywalk to remind users of proper social distancing and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recommendations in the form of posters and floor clings. Doors throughout the system will be propped open during open hours to limit touching. Business owners within the system will be encouraged to increase the amount of cleaning and sanitizing within their specific section, in addition to added skywalk cleaning that is usually provided.

The entire skywalk system will be opened with exception to the section that connects the Board of Trade building to the St. Louis County Government Services Building.
