Councilor Tomanek to be publicly sworn in on Thursday, June 18 at 2:00 p.m.

[Duluth, MN] Newly appointed City Councilor Terese Tomanek will be publicly sworn in on Thursday, June 18, at 2:00 p.m. on the steps of City Hall. Councilor Tomanek was appointed by the Duluth City Council on June 8, to fill the at-large City Council seat recently vacated by Barb Russ. Tomanek will fill the position until the term ends on the first Monday of 2022.

Mayor Larson and representatives from City Council will welcome Councilor Tomanek before she takes the oath and makes her first public statement as a City Councilor.

The City plans to live stream the event on its Facebook page and encourages the public to watch virtually. As a reminder, you do not need to have a Facebook account to be able to access the press conference.
