City to close a portion of Anderson Road on Tuesday, August 4

[Duluth, MN] On Tuesday, August 4, the City of Duluth is asking residents to avoid travel on Anderson Road west of Highway 53, as a portion of it will be closed during the installation of a new natural gas main crossing.  The Anderson Road segment scheduled for closure is just west of the Decker Road intersection.  Residents living on Anderson Road between Decker Road and Haines Road will be able to access it from Haines Road during construction.

Access to the portions of Decker Road currently under construction should utilize Piedmont Avenue or Highway 53 on Tuesday, August 4.  The closure is expected to last all day until the pipeline crossing is complete, and temporary traffic lanes have been restored.  Updates for Road Closures can be found online on the City of Duluth’s website:
