Glenwood Street Construction Starts Today

 

Starting today, July 6, 2010, Glenwood Street (from 43rd Avenue East to 60th Ave East) in the Lakeside neighborhood will undergo full reconstruction.  Work crews will be removing pavement starting from 60th Ave East and working their way west until the 2010 construction season ends.  The Glenwood Street project will be completed in 2011.  The contractor will work to keep access to residential properties as much as possible throughout the project. 


Weekly progress meetings will be held at 7:30 a.m. on Tuesdays at the corner of Glenwood Street and 54th Avenue East.  Representatives from Wagner Construction, Salo Engineering, and the City of Duluth will be on hand to discuss the progress of construction and plans for the coming weeks.  Residents are invited to attend the meetings to stay informed or to ask any questions.  The first meeting will be held on July 13, 2010.  The project updates will be provided at the following website  www.saloeng.com/glenwood
