Crews working to fix water main break between 1st Street and 3rd Avenue West
[Duluth, MN] At approximately 3:00 a.m. this morning (August 30), an eight-inch water main broke in the area of 1st Street and 3rd Avenue West. The Duluth Fire Department secured the site until crews from Public Works and Utilities arrived. First Street is closed to all traffic from 2nd Avenue West to 3rd Street. A team is onsite and working to fix the break as soon as possible. The City of Duluth will notify residents when the water main has been repaired.
