On 10/4/2020 at 4:53 AM, Duluth police officers responded to the report of a shooting on the 500 Block of W 3rd St. Shortly after receiving this report, Essentia ER reported three gunshot wound victims; a 23 year old male, a 28 year old male, and a 32 year old female. All have non-life threatening injuries. It is believed their wounds are a result of the shooting incident. Upon arrival of the scene officers located evidence consistent with the reports. Officers canvassed the area and interviewed multiple witnesses. The Duluth Police Department Violent Crimes Unit is actively investigating this case and no further information is available at this time.   

UPDATE: The Duluth Police Department has determined that all parties involved in this matter are known to each other and we do not believe there is any threat to the general public.   Investigators have Identified a person of interest and are actively working to locate and take the individual into custody.  The Duluth Police Department Violent Crimes Unit is actively investigating this case and no further information is available at this time.
