City and Community Partners to provide update on COVID-19 at Press Conference tomorrow, October 29

October 29, 2020 | 1:00 p.m. | Virtual

[Duluth, MN] The City of Duluth and community partners will host a virtual press conference on October 29, at 1:00 p.m. to provide an update of COVID-19 in Duluth and St. Louis County. Speakers for the press conference will include:

-        Mayor Emily Larson,

-        Dr. Jon Pryor, Essentia Health East Market President,

-        Dr. Nicholas Van Deelen, St. Luke’s Chief Medical Officer,

-        Amy Westbrook, St. Louis County, Director of Public Health Division

-        John Magas, ISD709 Superintendent

Due to the press conference being held virtually, residents can watch live on the City’s Facebook page. As a reminder, you do not need to have a Facebook account to access the press conference. The link to the City’s Facebook page is https://www.facebook.com/City-of-Duluth-MN-Government-197321860309981/. If you are a member of the public and have a question before the press conference, please email info@duluthmn.gov, and your question will be answered.

A separate link will be sent to media outlets to participate in the call. This link will allow members of the media to ask questions at the end of the press conference.
