City repairing a water main leak at 46th Avenue West
[Duluth, MN] The City of Duluth Public Works and Utilities will start repairing a water main leak at 46th Ave West and West Michigan Street this afternoon. Due to this work, southbound 46th Avenue West will be closed at Mike Cololillo Drive/West First Street, while northbound 46th Avenue West will remain open. Motorists trying to access I-35 and the Bong Bridge from West Duluth are encouraged to use alternate routes. This work has been coordinated with the affected businesses, and water service will be restored as soon as possible. Crews will reopen 46th Avenue West to traffic as soon as work is completed. Work is expected to be complete later today.
