[DULUTH, MN] The Duluth Police Department and Lake Superior Drug and Violent Crimes Task Force are proud to welcome Kristine (Krissy) Shogren to the team as a Counter Drug Analyst. Krissy will work to gather information to assist the drug task force with investigations. Her work will have a significant impact on the ongoing effort to remove dangerous substances from our community. This position is federally funded.

“Krissy’s role with the drug task force is an important part of our holistic approach to ending the opioid epidemic in Duluth.” Said Duluth Police Chief Mike Tusken. “The more information we have on suspects we’re investigating, the stronger our case is to hold them accountable for peddling poisons in our community.”

Krissy was born and raised in Duluth, MN. She has been in the National Guard for 12 years serving as a medic and comes to us from Essentia Health.
