INCIDENT LOCATION: 100 Block Harbor Highlands Drive

[DULUTH, MN] On 11/13/2020 the Duluth Police Department received information from the St. Cloud Police Department identifying a residence in Duluth where two suspects in a St. Cloud home invasion and shooting were staying.

At 11:19 AM the Duluth Police Department Tactical Response Team conducted a search warrant on the 100 Block of Harbor Highlands Drive.  Gabriel Josiah Harding (19) and Malik Rashaad McCurtis-Loyd (19) were both taken into custody without incident and brought to St. Louis County Jail for warrants on 1st Degree Assault and 1st Degree Burglary.

During the search warrant, officers seized the suspect's cell phones and a vehicle St. Cloud investigators believed was involved in the original incident.

Due to the dangerous nature of the original incident in St. Cloud, the Duluth Police Department requested the assistance of the Superior Police Department and their armored vehicle, which kept the community safe and helped the Duluth Police Tactical Response Team peacefully and safely resolve this situation.

Any questions pertaining to the original incident should be directed to the St. Cloud Police Department.
