City and Community Partners to provide an update on COVID-19 at Press Conference on January 14

January 14, 2020 | 1:00 p.m. | Virtual

[Duluth, MN] The City of Duluth and community partners will host a virtual press conference on Thursday, January 14, at 1:00 p.m. to provide an update on COVID-19 in Duluth and St. Louis County. Speakers for the press conference will include:

-          Chief Administrative Officer Noah Schuchman

-          Dr. Jon Pryor, Essentia Health East Market President

-          Dr. Nicholas Van Deelen, St. Luke’s Chief Medical Officer

-          Amy Westbrook, St. Louis County

-          John Magas, ISD709 Superintendent

The City has hosted a series of COVID-19 updates bi-weekly for the past few months. With vaccines starting to come to the northland, and with positive rates continuing to drop, these press conferences will take a pause, and will restart if need be at a later time.

Due to the press conference being held virtually, residents can watch live on the City’s Facebook page. As a reminder, you do not need to have a Facebook account to access the press conference. If you are a member of the public and have a question before the press conference, please email info@duluthmn.gov. Questions posted on social media will not be answered until the completion of the press conference.
