City crews responding to water main break in the Congdon neighborhood

[Duluth, MN] City of Duluth Utility Operations crews are responding to a broken water main located in the Congdon neighborhood. Reported at 7:43 p.m., the break is located at North 34th Avenue East and East 1st Street Water has been shut off on 1st Street between North 34th and 36th Avenue East. It is not known how long it will take the fix the break.

Crews ask drivers to be conscious of their work and avoid the work zone if possible.

City staff would like to thank those in the affected area for their patience. Crews are working to repair the break and restore water service as quickly as they can.
