Duluth Public Utilities Commission applications available
The Duluth City Council is accepting applications for residents interested in an appointment to the Duluth Public Utilities Commission. The applications are available until July 30, 2010 in the City Clerks office in Room 330 of City Hall (411 West First Street).
The Commission will consist of three City Councilors and four citizens. Applicants must be residents of Duluth and subscribers of the city’s utility services. The City Council will review applications, conduct interviews and appoint Commission members.
The Public Utilities Commission is charged with providing direction for the future of the City's utility infrastructure and rate setting for the following city utility services: water, natural gas, sanitary sewer and stormwater.
