SUBJECT: Structure Fire Intentionally Set

NATURE OF INCIDENT: Structure Fire

INCIDENT TIME: 0528 hours
INCIDENT LOCATION: 2413 West Third Street

On Saturday, August 8, 2009, at 05:28 a.m., the Duluth Fire Department and Duluth Police Department responded to a structure fire at 2413 West Third Street.  See Fire Department Press release for further details on fire and the battling of it.

The Duluth Police Arson Investigator responded to the scene.  After investigation, it was determined that the fire was intentionally set and considered an Arson.  No one had been living in the structure and it has been abandoned for some time. 

The investigation into the fire continues and the Duluth Police Arson Investigator asks that anyone with information on the fire, or saw anything suspicous around that address in the early morning hours of Saturday, August 8, 2009, call the Duluth Police Arson line at 218-730-5080.
