Mayor Larson to announce recommendations for Spirit Mountain at press conference

May 6, 2021 | 2:00 p.m. | Spirit Mountain Skyline Chalet

[Duluth, MN] Mayor Emily Larson will announce a set of recommendations for the Spirit Mountain Recreation Area in a press conference on Thursday, May 6 at 2:00 p.m. The announcements serve as a follow-up to the recommendations and report from the Spirit Mountain Task Force and the SE Group.  The Mayor has taken the report under consideration and is now ready to release her recommended plan for the area.

 Speakers for the press conference will include:

-    Mayor Emily Larson

-    Aaron Stolp, Spirit Mountain Board President

-    Ann Glumac, Interim Executive Director of Spirit Mountain Recreational Area

The press conference is open to members of the media only. A press release will be issued following the press conference with details on recommendations and next steps that the public can review.
