Duluth Police respond to two shots fired incidents in East Hillside
[Duluth, MN] At 11:45 p.m. on May 5, Duluth Police responded to multiple calls of shots fired on North 3rd Avenue East and East 8th Street. Upon arrival, Police found multiple shell casings on East 8th Street at the intersection of 3rd and 4th Avenue East. Police canvased the area and did not find any damage to any homes or vehicles. At this time there, no suspects or victims. This incident is under investigation, and no additional information is available at this time.
At 2:45 a.m. the Duluth Police responded to multiple calls of shots fired in the 200 East 4 Alley. Upon arrival, the Police found four .45 caliber casings in the alley. This incident is also under investigation and did not garner any suspects or victims.

*Alleys are numbered in Duluth. The number one alley is directly above Superior Street. The number two alley is directly above 1st Street, and so on. The location of the second incident occurred in the number four alley in between East 3rd and 4th Street and North 2nd Avenue and North 3rd Avenue.
