City crews responding to a water main break at 39th Avenue West

[Duluth, MN] City of Duluth Utility Operations crews are responding to a water main break located at North 39th Avenue West. The break was reported shortly before noon and is located in the Denfeld neighborhood. Water has been shut off on North 40th Avenue West between 4th and 6th Street, 39th Avenue West between 4th and 5th Street, and West 5th Street between 37th Avenue West and 40th Avenue West. It is not known at this time how long it will take the fix the break.

City staff would like to thank those in the affected area for their patience. Crews are working to repair the break and restore water service as quickly as they can.
