UPDATE: Robbery

[Duluth, MN] The Duluth Police Department is seeking the public's assistance in identifying the suspect from the robbery at Sadi's Smoke Shop.  Video surveillance of the suspect was recovered by Investigators with the Duluth Police Departments Violent Crimes Unit.  Duluth Police are asking the public to contact the Violent Crimes Unit (218-730-5050) if you know who this person is or have information about this incident.

Duluth Police respond to an armed robbery

[Duluth, MN] At approximately 11:37 a.m. this morning, the Duluth Police Department responded to a hold-up alarm at Sadi’s Smoke Shop. Sadi’s is located on the 1600 block of London Road. Police learned through the alarm company that there was a robbery in progress. Once on scene, the suspect had fled north of the business on foot. The suspect was reported to have used a handgun during the robbery, and was reported to having obtained an undisclosed amount of cash.

Police investigators are gathering evidence and processing the scene. This remains an active investigation. No additional information is available at this time.
