SUBJECT: Duluth Police Department asks publics help in looking for a male responsible for a burglary

INCIDENT LOCATION: 1100 block of Glen Place Drive
At 7:34 a.m., Wednesday, June 30, 2021, Duluth Police Officers responded to the 1100 block of Glen Place Drive, on the report of a burglary. The resident stated that shortly before calling he arrived home and discovered that someone was in his apartment and had barricaded himself inside.
Upon arrival, officers forced entry into the apartment and found that multiple items in the apartment were destroyed and the suspect had left. Duluth Police Officers then interviewed neighbors who told officers that around 3:30 a.m. that morning they heard furniture being moved around and then shortly before officers arrived on scene they saw a male leave the premises going east bound.
The Duluth Police Department is working with the apartment property manager to obtain video to help find the individual responsible. The suspect is described as a white male wearing a t-shirt, shorts and a baseball hat. If you have any information, you’re encouraged to call the Property Crimes Unit at 218-730-5160.
