INCIDENT LOCATION: 100 block of E 3rd St
On Friday evening, Task Force Investigators observed 27-year-old Metris Bell selling drugs in the 100 block of E 3rd Street. Investigators detained Bell and searched him, his residence, and his vehicle on a search warrant. Duluth Police Investigators located and seized fentanyl packaged for sale, a loaded Smith and Wesson pistol, and more than $1,500 cash. Bell has also been involved in previous shootings in Duluth.
Metris Bell was arrested on pending charges of 2nd Degree Sale of Fentanyl and Felon in Possession charges. The Duluth Police Department was assisted by the Superior Police Department and the Douglas County Sheriff's Office.
