INCIDENT LOCATION: 100 block of N 1st Ave W
At 5:16 p.m., on Monday, September 6, 2021, Duluth Police Officers responded to the 100 block of N 1st Ave W for a report of a stabbing. 38-year-old David Norris confronted a 32-year-old male with a knife. The victim male, identified as Gerald Wilcox, was stabbed in the neck area and is being treated at a local hospital for his injuries. He is in stable condition. Norris was located a few blocks away from the incident and was detained without incident. He was booked on pending charges of 2nd Degree Assault. The incident is still under investigation and no further information will be released at this time.
