INCIDENT TIME: 2:20 a.m.
INCIDENT LOCATION: 1000 block of 88th Ave W
At around 2:20 a.m., Sunday, September 26, 2021, Duluth Police Officers were dispatched to the 1000 block of 88th Ave W in Morgan Park for a report of an alarm call at Speedway Gas Station. Upon arrival, officers located two individuals in the store, identified as a 13-year old male and a 16-year-old male. Both juveniles were arrested on scene on pending charges of Aiding and Abetting Burglary in the Second Degree, Aiding and Abetting Criminal Damage to Property in the First Degree, and Possession of Burglary Tools.
Earlier this month on September 11, 2021, there was also an armed robbery at the Speedway Gas Station. We are asking for the public to contact our Violent Crimes Unit at 219-730-5050 if you have any information regarding that incident.
